In July 2001 Sportingbet became the biggest Internet sportsbook in the world with the acquisition of Sportsbook and its 3 major Internet products; sportsbook.com, wallstreet.com and playersonly.com. This acquisition increased the Sporting Bet customer base to over 450,000.

Sporting Odds
In June 2002 Sportingbet further strengthened its position in the European market by acquiring Sporting Odds. This site is already a market leader in the United Kingdom and has doubled our European customer base.

Sporting Bet's other significant properties including Sportingbet, SportingbetUSA, Superbook and The Number One Betting Shop have joined long time Black List member Sportsbook.com to be downgraded to the Sportsbook Review Black List.
